Bake off 25th Nov

This weeks bake was savoury tartlets.

As always through this competition the standards were high. Committed competitors came up 

at lunch time to prepare their pastry for the evening determined to produce a winning 

bake.  We had some creative and challenging combinations of ingredients and presentation. 

Feta cheese, peppers, baby tomatoes, chalots and sizzling bacon.

Taste, texture and presentation was a priority for the judges. Mrs Jones was our visiting 

judge this week with Mrs Bickley.  Once again it was a difficult decision for the judges.

Next week it will be cookies, yum yum! Should be a deliciously sweet experience.
